Robert Harrison & Sons Funeral Directors is an independent family owned and run business which has many years of experience and has an exceptional reputation for offering a personal, supportive and professional level of dedicated funeral care. We serve the coastal town of Whitby, the Esk Valley and the North York Moors, as well as offering our funeral services in the rest of North Yorkshire.
Our service to you starts from when you contact us, and often extends to beyond the day of the funeral.
We will arrange for one of our directors to visit you, in order to organise and discuss your requirements. Here, we will offer you advice, with regards to your options and choices, in order to ensure that all funeral arrangements are made in accordance with both your wishes, and those of the deceased. Furthermore, our staff will point out the procedures, costs and legal requirements throughout the funeral arrangement process.
We pride ourselves on our high level of service and local expertise when arranging a funeral, as our staff are fully trained, experienced and are from the local community. We have a private Chapel of Rest situated in Whitby and are based in Glaisdale in the Esk Valley.
Essentially, we offer a prompt and caring service, available 24 hours a day, providing continual personal attention.
